Our Homes enjoyed celebrating St Patrick’s Day on Wednesday 17 March with fancy dress, games and some lively Irish dancing! Our Chefs also got involved and created themed menus to add some traditional Irish flavours to the day.
Irish stew, with a selection of green vegetables was served at Bromley Park Care Home, with a spectacular St Patrick’s Day cake for dessert, topped with sweets and fresh fruit.
Hengist Field Care Home’s St Patrick’s Day menu featured themed muffins and mocktails, including Sparkling Cucumber Lemonade.
St Winifreds Care Home Chefs delighted their residents with a choice of Irish lamb or vegetable stew, accompanied by Colcannon mashed potato, followed by Baileys Cheesecake and Irish Apple Cake.
And we do love a good treat at Nellsar! Our talented Chef Leigh at Meyer House Care Home made this stunning cake recently, with some beautiful floral details. Almost too good to eat!
