Last week marked a proud moment for the team as Head Chef Cosmin Cristea presented Cristian Pitic with his certificate marking the completion of his Production Chef NVQ Level 2 qualification.

Five Star food standard
Following an unannounced inspection from the Food Standards Agency on Monday 12 April, the Home was delighted to be awarded a maximum level 5 star rating for food hygiene. This came as no real surprise because the Kitchen consistently operates at an extremely high level of proficiency and cleanliness, but it is great recognition for their hard work and dedication to the highest level of food service for their residents.
Mario took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the team and thanked them with pizza and a heart-warming speech in the back garden. Staff also received a thank you card and voucher for all their continued efforts.
